Project Overview

By default, your work is organized into projects. A project is a collection of related items - files, data, and other resources that contribute to a common purpose. A project is usually created for the breeding-related purposes.

Project Architecture

• Self-contained: By default, a project and its associated files and data are stored together in one folder. This makes projects easy to find and manage.
• Streamlined: A project contains only the items and resource connections required for your work.

What you can do inside a project

• Upload project files
• Genomic Selection
  • Create prediction models
  • Predict breeding values
• GWAS
• Crossing Simulation
• Manage pedigree information

Create a project

What you need:

• You need to be at least a MEMBER of an organization
• The organization must have a Crop

Steps:

1. On Projects page, click Add Project

   

2. Add New Project form will appear. Select a Crop and enter a Project Name. Click Save.

   

3. You will be redirected to your project's overview page.
